Some have sequels, but those make it obvious in their titles. Berseria has reveals that aren't really reveals if you've played Zestiria first. The connection to Berseria, which I played first, made it a lot more enjoyable than it would have been otherwise. Yeah so I’ve heard. Maotelus (マオテラス, Maoterasu?) is a character in Tales of Zestiria and Tales of Berseria. The plot can feel a bit meandering at times and the combat can be tricky to adjust to, but it still has plenty o' fun to offer. Also the world was only called "Desolation" during Berseria's time, much like Zestiria's name for the world. It was released in Japan for. Tales of Games do work like FF as direct sequel tends to bear the same main title like Xillia 2 or Symphonia: Dawn of a new world. Not 3000 years. I would have put it in D tier before but now I feel it’s a solid B.
