You're correct in that leveling major skills contributes to leveling up your character just like in vanilla, however you ALSO get a small boost to your character level progress whenever you level any other minor skill. With this mod I added a training mod (unlimited training until levelup) and a mod which take away weight as a limitation for inventory. 3.
